Prof. Hina Younus joined Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit of AMU as a lecturer in 2003. She has teaching and research experience of more than 20 years. She has established a research laboratory where her group works on various aspects of enzymes and on nanoparticles. Prof. Younus is the recipient of the prestigious DAAD research fellowship and has worked at the Department of Biotechnology, Martin Luther University, Halle, Germany. She has done her Postdoctorate from IUPUI, Indianapolis, U.S.A. Under her supervision 8 Ph.D. students, 1 M.Phil student, and about 50 post-graduation students, including 2 MD/MDS, completed their thesis and dissertations. She has published about 90 research/review articles in high impact journals of repute, including Nature Structural & Molecular Biology (IF: 18.4), and 1 patent. She has edited one book, contributed 4 book chapters, and has successfully completed 3 projects. She is in the editorial boards/review panels of several research journals and is the member of many scientific societies and committees.
