Profile: I passed the high school and intermediate from U.P. Board of Secondary Education, earned bachelor's degree in Unani Medicine & Surgery (B.U.M.S.) and Research & skill oriented Masters degree in General Surgery (M.S. Jarahat) from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh INDIA. Further, I completed the M.B.A. degree in Health Care Services and M.Sc. degree in Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs from UGC & MHRD recognized University. I also earned Post Graduate Diploma in Preventive & Promotive Health Care from Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation, Hyderabad INDIA. I started my career as House Officer in the Department of Jarahat (Surgery), Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 1992 and later on joined the same Department as lecturer in 1994. Since then I am continuously working and my present designation is Professor and Chairman in the same department. I had worked as the Deputy Medical Superintendent of Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Hospital, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh for more than 10 years. I had also worked on the additional administrative responsibility of the Member-in-charge (CEO) of Dawakhana Tibbiya College (Unani Medicine manufacturing and sales Unit) from September 2014 to April 2017. I have visited foreign countries including CHINA for 07 times for research & academic purposes. My research interest includes the integration of Modern Scientific knowledge with Unani Medicine/Herbal Medicine to fulfil the present health needs and make it more effective and more acceptable among the people of India & abroad in contemporary era. In addition to the surgical procedures, I am also working towards the use of Unani Medicine in Surgical Diseases.
