Dr. Mohd Arif is working as an Assistant Professor in Law at Aligarh Muslim University Murshidabad Centre since 2nd September, 2013. Before joining this Centre of AMU he has served in the same capacity at Faculty of Law S.V.S. University, Meerut for almost seven years. He served the Department at AMU Centre Murshidabad as the Coordinator of Law  from July 2019 to July 2021. He has also served as the In-Charge-Admissions & Examinations from August, 2015 to July 2021. He has almost fourteen years of teaching experience including five years at Post Graduate level. He has co-ordinated one day National Seminar sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research. He has also coordinated one day International Seminar organized by AMU Centre Murshidabad in February 2017. His research interest includes Criminal Law, Property Law, Criminal Justice System and Human Rights. He has published several articles in National and International Journals of repute and supervised Eighteen LL.M dissertations.
