Dr. Sumbl Ahmad Khanday is currently working as an Assistant Professor on contractual basis in faculty of Law at Aligarh Muslim University Murshidabad Centre since 27^th of May, 2022. His research interest centered around the issues of criminology, specifically within the domain of addiction research. His Ph.D is about drug addiction among youth: with special reference to de-addiction or rehabilitation centers of Kashmir valley, which in broader context fall in field of “Sociology of Crime and Deviance”. His other areas of interest are contemporary sociology, research methodology and youth studies. He has a full time research experience of four and half years in the field of “Sociology of Deviance” at Department of Sociology, A.M.U. Aligarh as “Junior Research Fellow”. He has published many research papers in reputed national and international journals and has authored a book entitled Sociology for Beginners and others..
