Gopal Krushna Sahu has 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has been working as Associate Professor in the Department of Mass Communication since 2014. His teaching and research areas include communication research, international and intercultural communication, health communication, media ethics, public relations practice, reporting and media and cultural studies. He has Published several research papers in peer reviewed and internationally reputed journals. He has also delivered several lectures in reputed universities and institutions. He is the Associate Editor of Political Communication section of Frontiers in Communication
Dr. Sahu supervises doctoral students undertaking researches on contemporary socio-cultural issues relevant to human rights, gender and media, international communication with specific focus on Asian countries, media and intercultural communication, media and cultural studies with specific focus on advertisements, cartoons and films by employing both qualitative as quantitative methods of research.
