My research interest has been "The Algebraic Theory of semigroups" in the ambit of Algebra. Apart from teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Algebra, I have also taught some specialized non-algebraic courses such as on functional analysis, topology, calculus of several variables etc. at post graduate level and courses like diffential equations, numerical analysis, geometry etc. at undergraduate level. Some of my published research papers appear in top most journals of algebra such as"Trans. Of Amer. Math. Soc.", "J. of Aust. Math. Soc.", "Semigroup Forum" and "Communications in Algebra".
