M.A.degree in Malayalam with first class and second Rank from University of Calicut in 1983 and M.Phil degree in 1985. Qualified JRF of UGC in 1985. Awarded Doctorate degree in Malayalam in 1991, University of Calicut on the topic ?Imagery in the Poems of P.Kunhiraman Nair?. . Obtained M.A. in Sanskrit (1994) and Diplomas in Tamil (1996) and Hindi (1997) . Invited as resource person Academic Staff College, Rajasthan University, Jaipur, 2009. Participated as Expert member in the survey team led by the Dept. of Linguistics, AMU on KORKU language spoken in Harda District of Madhya Pradesh, 2010. Chaired a session at 11thISBSAnnual Conference, Gangtok, 2011, & 23rd annual conference Bengaluru in 2023. Special interest in Manuscript reading of Grantha script, Socio linguistics and translation.
