Dr. Taher H. Pathan is In-Charge, Marathi Section, D/o Modern Indian Languages. He has been supervising Ph.D. Teaching, Ph.D. coursework, postgraduate and undergraduate classes in Marathi for over 10 years. His research areas are Medieval Marathi literature, Sent Literature and Folk Literature. His writings are published in journals of national and international repute. He has thirteen books (edited) to his credit. He has received Sent Namdev Award 2020 (State Level) for editing his book titled ‘Santsahityamimansa’. He has convened 10 National & 1 International Conferences. He is a Member of the Board of Studies for the Department of Marathi at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has delivered special lectures and keynote addresses in national and international seminars, as well as refresher and orientation courses. He is passing out more than 350 students in Marathi courses every year.
