Dr. Taher H. Pathan is In-Charge Marathi Section, D/o Modern Indian Languages. He has been supervising Ph.D. Teaching, Ph.D. coursework, postgraduate and undergraduate classes in Marathi for over 6 years. His research areas are Medieval Marathi literature, Sent Literature and Folk Literature. His writings are published in journals of national and international repute. He has seven books (edited) to his credit. He has received Sent Namdev Award 2020 (state level) for his editing his book titled ‘Santsahityamimansa’. He has convened 4 National & 1International Conferences. He is a Member of the Board of Studies, Department of Marathi, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has delivered special lectures and keynote address in national / international seminars, refresher / orientation courses. He is passing out more than 250 students in Marathi courses every year.
