Dr. Danish Mahmood Presently working as Assistant Professor w.e.f. 08/10/2016.Earlier, he has worked about 17 years as Part-Time Lecturer/Guest Teacher in the Department of Museology.He has  Presented 21 research papers and Published about 29 Research Papers in the Journals of repute and Guided 21 students in their Project Work of M.Sc.(Museology). He is having Association with different professional bodies like Museum Association of India, IASC,ICBCP and Wildlife Society of India.

Dr. Danish has organized conferences/seminars as Coordinator and Convener and has been Facilitator/coordinator/member of various academic and administrative committees. He has also chaired/co-chaired technical sessions in conferences and resourse person in workshops. 

 Apart from Teaching and Research, Dr. Danish Mahmood has rendered his services in University Administration and corporate life of the campus as President, University Fusion Music Club; Councillor, AMURSA, Secretary UMC etc. He has been associated withe IGNOU as Assistant Coordinator and academic councillor, Cultural Education Center, AMU as President Fusion Music Club and  Elected Member of Executive Committee of AMU Teacher's Association (AMUTA). Presently serving as President Hindustani Music Club, CEC, AMU and Elected Member of Executive Committee of Museums Association of India (MAI).
