Dr. Afshan Bey passed  MDS in 1991 in Periodontics from F/0 Dental Sciences, KGMC, Lucknow. Presently working as Prof , D/o Periodontics & Community Dentistry, Dr Z.A.Dental college, AMU, Aligarh.Worked as Chairman of the dept. for fourth time in her 26 years service. Joined as life member of Indian Society of Periodontology &Indian Dental Association.  Guided several MDS thesis and conducted examinations of BDS and MDS at various dental colleges of different universities.  Chaired several scientific sessions both at national and international conferences. Participated as active inspector for various dental colleges through the Dental Council of India. She has several published papers in national and international journals.
