I am giving my services to the department since 31.7.90 as Clinical Registrar, Lecturer, Reader and finally as Professor since 06.09.2006. I am engaged in teaching, training of MBBS, MD, DMRD (Radiodiagnosis & DMLT (Radiology) students. After my joining as Lecturer, department has started C.T., Color Doppler, Mammography and MRI. My special focus areas are ultrasonography and color Doppler studies. I have supervised 20 theses in the Department as guide and more than 50 theses as Co-guide of various department of the college. I have published several articles in National and International Journals eg. The Indian Journal of Radiology & Imaging, European Journal of Radiology, Acta Gasteroenterologica Latino Americana Journal, Iranian Journal of Radiology, JBR, BTR, Oman Medical Journal and Nepalese Journal of Radiology. I have been the chairman of the department twice from 2006 to 2009 and from 2014 to 2016. Currently I am supervising the PhD of Dr. Shagufta Wahab titled " The role of various MRI sequences in assessment of vertebral bone marrow changes in postmenopausal Indian female population". I am also actively involved in an Indo-US collaborative project titled " Low cost enabling technology for image guided photodynamic therapy of oral cancers" .
