After completing my MBBS from J.N. Medical College, A.M.U., Aligarh, I joined the Department of Radiodiagnosis, A.M.U., and passed my M.D. from the department in the year 2011. I subsequently worked as registrar in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi before joining as Senior Resident in 2012 and later continued as Assistant Professor. I moved to Birmingham, UK in 2015 for Fellowships in Musculoskeletal and Cardiac Imaging (2years) from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK. I was also awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), London, UK in 2017.
I subsequently joined the Department in 2018 and was promoted to the position of Associate Professor in 2020 and then as Professor in 2024. I am serving as Deputy Medical Superintendent in JNMCH since 2019 and Chairman of the department since October 2024.
I have a keen interest in research and teaching activities of the department and have more than 50 national and international publications to my credit. I have developed dedicated Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Clinics, CT Coronary Angiography and Cardiac MRI services in the department.
