Mohd Shakir "Swabhimani" (b.Aligarh,U.P) received his MFA degree from AMU, Aligarh, M.Ed from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and DTD from RTOU, Allahabad.He has been working as a TGT(Arts) in S.T.S.School AMU, Aligarh since 1997. He has innate qualities of art within him. Facinating colors of cloud, butterfly and of glass paper weight has always been the inspiring and motivating force for him to work since childhood. He has a colorful palette with all vibrant colors depicting different moods of nature successfully. Working in abstract impressionistic style, his paintings are well balanced combination of abstract and figure. Apart from exhibiting in numerous art galleries of India, Swabhimani also has international shows in his credit. He has been the Secretary of AMU Fine Arts Club, Joint Secretary of IACS, Joint Secretary of AMUFAC, Joint Secretary of Art Family, Hobbies and Cultural Secretary of NRSC, Auditor of AMUSTA. Presently he is one of the pro-proctors of the School.
