Former Chairman and Professor in the Department of Sanskrit. First Muslim in the World who completed his Ph. D in Rigveda.  He has 30 years of teaching experience. Received the first prize from Rastrapati Dr. S.D. Sharma in the Open SAARC National Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Essay Writing Competition, 1991. Received Prestigious Vijay Rattan Award 2005 by I.I.F.S., New Delhi, from Former Governor of Orissa & Assam Shri Bhisma Narayana Singh. Received Prestigious Award Vividha Puraskarâ from U.P.
