She did M.Com, M.Phil and Ph.D. in Commerce from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh with specialization in Industrial Management & Managerial Performance Evaluation . She has a teaching experience of more than 23 years. She is Reader/Associate Professor at University Women's Polytechnic and also the Section Incharge of Secretarial Practice Section as well as OSD/Coordinator of Costume Design & Dress Making Section. Contributed and attended various National and International Conferences in India and published papers in reputed Journals. Actively participated in various positions in University Administration such as Assistant Proctor, Pro Proctor etc. She is sharing various responsibilities in the department other than teaching such as Incharge, Purchase & Store, member of different committees etc. She is also actively involved in extra curricular activities of various halls of residence.
