Certificate Courses

22nd February to 4th March 2006: Certificate Course on “Women & Society. Lectures were given by noted Historian Prof. Irfan Habib, Prof. Shormishta Panja, Prof. Roop Rekha Verma & Dr. Reicha Tanwar. Over 300 students (both boys & girls) and some faculty members attended the course.

6th – 15th February 2007: Short-term Certificate Course on “Gender Equality: Problems & Perspectives”. 200 boys & girls attended the course. Lectures were given by Prof. Usha Ramanathan, Prof. Indu Agnihotri, Prof. Shormishtha Panja, Prof. Reicha Tanwar, Prof. Mary John, Prof. Irfan Habib, Dr. Shad Naved, Prof. G. Arunima.



Faculty Development Programs / Subject Refresher Courses:

1st – 23rd Feb. 2008: 1st Interdisciplinary Refresher Course in Women’s Studies attended by 45 College & University teachers.

3rd – 23rd Feb. 2009: Subject Refresher Course in Women’s Studies attended by 60 College & University teachers.

20th Jan. – 10th Feb. 2010: SRC in Women’s Studies attended by 63 college & University teachers.

14th Oct. – 04th Nov. 2010: SRC in Women’s Studies attended by 60 University & College teachers.

20th Jan. – 21st Feb. 2012: SRC in Women’s Studies attended by 60 University & College teachers.

30th Jan. – 19th Feb. 2013: SRC in Women’s Studies attended by 60 University & College teachers.

8th – 29th November 2013: Subject Refresher course on ‘Women’s Empowerment: Issues & Challenges’ attended by 60 participants.

3rd – 24th December 2014:

20th Feb. – 14th Mar. 2017. SRC in Women’s Studies attended by 97 college & University teachers.

12th Aug. 1st Sept. 2017: SRC on ‘Women’s Studies: An Interdisciplinary Approach’ attended by 79 participants.

1st – 15th Nov. 2019: SRC in Women’s Studies.
