My field of research is proteins and molecular biology. This includes structural, functional relationship, characterization of proteins and proteinase inhibitors. Clinical studies on human sera, like the involvement of proteinase inhibitor in various diseases, has been part of the research. Supervised PhD, MPhil and MD theses. Involved in teaching Biochemistry to MBBS, BDS, MDS and some paramedical courses. Presented research papers at various national and international conferences ( in India & outside India) Published research papers in various national and international Journals. These include Biomed. Biochim Acta (BBA), International J of Biochem Research & Review, Indian J of Biochem & Biophys and others.
