Dr. Moinuddin received his M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry in 1992 and 1995 respectively from the Faculty of Medicine of the Aligarh Muslim University. He was appointed as Demonstrator/SR in 1994 and as Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in February, 1997; Reader in February, 2006; Associate Professor in February 2009 and Professor in February, 2012. He possesses a total teaching and research experience of over 30 years. His research interest has been Nucleic Acid Immunology, Autoimmunity and Free radical biology. He has supervised 15 Ph.D. & 08 M.D. students, besides 01 M.Phil guidance. Dr. Moinuddin has published over 110 papers in reputed international journals like Seminars in cancer, FEBS Letters, IJBM, ABB, BBRC, Rheumatology, PLoS One, IUBMB Life etc. Besides, he has also published quite a few papers in national journals. He has operated four major research projects and also served as a member of DST-FIST implementation group. He has been invited to present his work at various national and international conferences and has also chaired the scientific sessions at these meets. He is on the reviewing panel of various journals. Dr. Moinuddin has served as subject expert on selection panels and has been examiner at almost all reputed medical institutions of the country. Dr. Moinuddin is a recipient of Commonwealth Academic Fellowship to work in UK.He is a Life member of Society for Free Radical Research (SFRR) and Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABS).
