Dr. Khan joined Department of chemistry as Assistant Professor on 4 Feb 2014. Dr Khan Completed his B.Sc in chemistry (Hons), M.Sc in Physical chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University. Thereafter,he obtained Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the same university in 2009. He is engaged in good research on Designing, Spectral investigations and Crystallographic Studies of Novel CT complexes of acceptors and donors.He has been teaching Physical Chemistry to the students of undergraduate and post graduate levels in Department of Chemistry, AMU, Aligarh India. He has an expertise in Synthesis of Charge Transfer and proton transfer Complexes which are characterized by using Single Crystal X-ray Crystallography, UV-Visible Spectroscopic other techniques like FTIR, H1NMR, 13C NMR, MS and TGA-DTA.He has published twenty one papers in journals of repute such as Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology,Journal of Molecular Liquids,Journal of Molecular Structure, Spectrochimica Acta Part A,Research on Chemical Intermediates,Chinese Chemical letters, Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals etc. He has also participated in thirteen National and International conferences and Symposium.
