Dr. Mohd Nasir has obtained M.Sc. with specialization in “Analytical chemistry” and MPhil in 2011 and 2014, respectively from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He was awarded Ph.D degree on the research work entitled "Development of inorganic organic hybrid material for remediation of pollutants" in 2018 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.
He
is presently working as Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University since June 2021.

His main research area includes:

  1. Synthesis and characterization of composite materials based on graphene oxide, chitosan and β-cyclodextrin for remediation of emerging pollutants including pharmaceuticals and heavy metal ions from wastewater.

  2. Development and validation of analytical methods based on spectroscopic approach for determination of pharmaceuticals.
