Dr. Kausar Ali is Professor in Civil Engineering Department. He obtained his Bachelors and Masters degree from AMU and PhD from IIT Delhi. He has more than twenty seven years teaching experience. He has taught Strength of Materials, Theory of Structures, Hydraulics, Surveying, Soil Mechanics etc. His research interests include ground improvement, stone columns, geotextile applications, slope stability, pile foundation. He is a recipient of the University Gold Medals for securing first rank in Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Engineering (Combined). He has published more than twenty nine (29) papers in various international and National journals and conferences. Some of the journals in which papers have been published include Geosynthetics International, International Journal of Geosynthetics and Ground Improvement and Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India).
