Dr. Mohammad Suhaib Ahmad is a Structural Engineer with PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the year 2020. He earned his Master’s in Technology from Acadamy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) in the specialization of Engineering of Infrastructure and Disaster Mitigation. Suhaib is graduated as a Civil Engineer from the faculty of Engineering Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University). After graduation in 2011, he joined the Prestigious Central Building Research institute (CBRI) Roorkee under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He served there for about 3 years as Scientist (trainee) at Fire Research laboratory and worked on several in-house R&D projects including his own M.Tech Dissertation. In year 2013 he was also appointed as a Scientist at Fire Research laboratory in Central Building research Institute (CBRI). Mohammad Suhaib Ahmad in 2014 joined department of Civil engineering Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee for his doctoral studies in the field of structural fire engineering. During his doctoral studies he also worked on the prestigious project of Bhaba Atomic Research Center (BARC) and was appreciated for his work from his supervisor.
Mohammad Suhaib Ahmad is presently working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh, U.P. India.
Mohammad Suhaib Ahmad is a recipient of CSIR fellowship at post-graduation level and MHRD fellowship at Doctoral level.
Suhaib has published several paper of international repute and presented papers in international conferences in India as well as abroad. He also attended several workshops and short term courses on extreme loading for structures.
