Dr. Saif Said is presently, Professor in the Civil Engineering Department, Aligarh Muslim University and joined the University in July 2016, prior to which he served several prestigious Universities in India. Dr. Said worked as assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi and served Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology presently known as Thapar University, Patiala in Punjab as assistant professor for a brief period. He is graduated in Civil Engineering and post graduated in Water Resources Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He obtained his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. He is a Fellow of the Indian Water Resource Society (IWRS), life member of Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservationist (IASWC), The Institution of Engineers (IE) India and life member of Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG), (ISRO, Ahmedabad, India. He has supervised three PhD thesis and 25 M-Tech dissertations. He has published more than 60 papers in national /international journals and conferences. Dr. Said is a Casual Reviewer of more than 15 reputed international journals of water resources engineering. He has provided consultancies in different areas of water resources engineering.
