Pervez Mustajab joined Women’s Polytechnic AMU, Aligarh as a lecturer in the year 1984 and subsequently promoted to the position of Reader. He was selected as Reader in the department of Electronics Engineering in 1989 and Professor in the year 1998. Prior to this he also worked in University of Sulaimanyah  and University of Salahaddin, Iraq for about 3 years. He obtained his Ph.D degree from department of Electronics & Computer Engineering in the year 2002 from IIT Roorkee under QIP program. His area of interest is in Digital systems, Microprocessor based systems and Intelligent Instrumentation, He has held various senior administrative positions in the University such as Training and Placement officer, ZHCET, OSD Development, Controller of Examinations & Admissions. Presently he is heading the faculty of Engineering & Technology as the Dean.
