Teaching in the department since 1997and presently working as Professor She has done her B.Lib I.Sc. and M.Lib .I.Sc. from AMU and secured first position in M.L.I.Sc. , she has completed her M.Phil from Delhi University and P.hD from AMU. More than 50 papers have been published in national and International Journals and conference proceedings. Her area of interest is Reference and Information Sources and services, cataloguing Theory and Practice and Management of Libraries . 04 Ph.Ds have been awarded under her supervision and few are in the stage of submission very soon. She has also worked as Warden Abdullah hall and Assistant Proctor AMU. She is a life member of ILA.
