Dr. Amir Husain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University. He has over five years of post-MD experience, with a strong focus on internal medicine and nephrology. His clinical work spans intensive care, dialysis services, and interventional nephrology, including extensive experience in vascular access procedures, hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, and ultrasound-guided renal biopsies.

Dr. Amir Husain is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has contributed to research with multiple national and international publications, conference presentations, and a book chapter. He is a life member of the Association of Physicians of India and the Indian Society of Nephrology, and an academic member of RSSDI. His academic interests include acute kidney injury, diabetic kidney disease, and critical care nephrology.
