I was born in 1980 at Aligarh, where I completed my secondary education at A.M.U. City High School in 1995, followed by senior secondary education from the Senior Secondary School for Boys, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 1997. I earned my Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) degree from AMU with First Division.
Following my undergraduate studies, I secured the top rank in the postgraduate entrance examination and joined the Department of Moalejat at A.K. Tibbiya College, AMU, as a postgraduate student. I completed my M.D. in Moalejat in the 2008–2009 session and was honored with the University Medal for securing the first position in the final examination.
My teaching career began in April 2009 at Aligarh Unani & Ayurvedic Medical College, Aligarh (UP). I later joined the Department of Moalejat, A.K. Tibbiya College, AMU, from November 2011 to January 2012 as Assistant Professor. In February 2012, I was appointed as Guest Faculty in the same department and subsequently elevated to the position of Assistant Professor, a role I continue to serve in.
My research primarily focuses on bridging traditional Unani concepts with contemporary medical science. In my teaching, I place particular emphasis on clinical relevance and the practical aspects of disease diagnosis. My research work has been published in several reputed journals.
