Prof. Mohammad Kamil obtained his B. Tech (Chemical) degree from the A.M.U. Aligarh in 1984 and M. Tech. Degree from IIT Roorkee (formerly Univ. of Roorkee). He Completed his PhD from the AMU Aligarh in the area of Boiling heat transfer in a natural circulation vertical thermosiphon reboiler with single component liquids and binary liquid mixtures. He also worked as INSA Visiting Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at I.I.T. Madras, Chennai. He has published more than 150 research papers in refereed journals and conferences. He received Sir Ganga Ram Memorial Prize for the paper entitled, Modelling of Spiral Coil Heat Exchanger: Model with Easy Simulation Using MS-Excel by the Institution of Engineers, India along with other certificate of merits. He has supervised many M.Tech. Dissertations and a PhD in the area of polymer-surfactant interactions. He has delivered several invited talks in International and National Conferences and Workshops. He has successfully completed many research projects funded by MHRD, UGC and CSIR, Govt. of India. His research interests are in ANN based modelling of Heat transfer, fluid circulation and boiling incipience in a vertical tube thermosiphon reboiler, Polymer- Surfactant interactions, Petroleum Processing and Green Engineering.
