Dr. Merajuddin Faridi, is currently working
as Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Education, Aligarh Muslim
University, Aligarh, India. He has his specialisation in Sports Management and
Sports Nutrition & Health Sciences. He has more than twelve years of
teaching and research experience in the field of Physical Education. He has
supervised several research scholars in this field. Dr.Faridi, has been the first position holder at Bachelor’s and
Master’s degrees of Physical Education and was the topper of Uttar Pradesh
Public Service Commission’s Assistant Professor recruitment examination. He
also has significant cricketing expertise, he has represented Uttar Pradesh in
Vijay Merchant Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, Cooch Behar Trophy, and M.A.
Chidambaram Trophy. He was also part of the U.P. Ranji Trophy squad. Dr.Faridi has published several
research papers in the well-reputed indexed journals and has also presented
papers and lectures in international and national conferences.
