Qualified psychiatrist with 3+ years of experience effectively treating patients with a wide range of mental and behavioural conditions with special interest in dementia care. Focused on well-rounded holistic approach to treat patients, through medications, active listening, and recommending talk-centred counselling programs.

Working in the Psychiatry department at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College & Hospital, AMU, was a golden opportunity to be exposed to various ethnic groups and socio-economic backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly. The comprehensive training in different mental health domains have given me the skills that are needed to master patients’ empathy, counselling, psychiatric assessment and implementing treatment plan.

This was associated with being involved in some administrative work and mental health awareness programs/camps for better healthcare delivery of psychiatric services. I wish to continue practicing as a Psychiatrist, rendering my time and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.
