Qurratul Aein Ali has more than 15 years of teaching experience in the Department of Social Work AMU and Delhi School of Social work (DSSW), Delhi University. Her academic experiences revolve around teaching, curriculum development, research, proposal writing, supervision of the field activities, capacity building etc. She is also having a rich and varied experience of the development sector, she worked in the field of Community Development, Microfinancing, Counselling to HIV/AIDS, Family Planning etc. she is the Lifetime Member of NAPSWI (National Association for the Professional Social work in India) and ISPSW (Indian Society of Professional Social Work).
She has been the part of various projects & associated with various international, national and local agencies like, ILO, UNICEF, Urban Health Initiatives (UHI), TCS etc. She is serving as Program officer in NSS, Aligarh. She has completed four Impact Assessment study of the CSR project funded by PowerGrid corporation of India Ltd. as principal investigator. She has delivered many invited talks on community outreach, functional literacy, Maternal health, HIV/ADS, Mental health etc. She has published many research papers in many reputed journals  and in many edited books, she also authored one book. Her area of interest is Migration, Maternal Health, Development Communication and Community Work.
