Dr Sameera Khanam is Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, AMU with more than 5 years of teaching and research experience. Her research interests include reproductive health, gender and rural and urban community. She is primarily interested in studying intersectionality of gender and its embeddedness in everyday life. She is teaching papers like Women and Child Development, Criminology and Correctional Administration, Social Structure and Social Change, Sociological Concepts for Social Work, Social Action & Social Movements & Social Case Work. She has presented research papers at various International and National forums and has contributed chapters and papers in books and reputed peer reviewed journals
