Dr. Ahmad obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Research from A.M.U., Aligarh in 2010. He had been a recipient of a fellowship from the University Grants Commission during his doctoral studies and was awarded the University Medal for standing first in the M.Sc. programme (2003). He has been an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Statistics and Operations Research at the Aligarh Muslim University since March 2014. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor for over three years in the Dept. of Mathematics at the Integral University, Lucknow. His research interests are in the field of Integer Programming and Bilevel Programming. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals. His teaching interests are in the area of Linear Programming, Integer Programming, Network Flows, Optimization Theory, Numerical Techniques and Statistical Methods.
