Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall

REPORT

            Aligarh, September, 13: Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh observed the nationwide Swachhta Pakhwada, 2021 during the period from 1^st to 15^th September, 2021.

            Prof. Shamshad Husain (Provost), all Wardens along with the staff members carried out various activities which are mentioned as under:

1. Swachhta Oath was administered by the Provost, Prof. Shamshad Husain, where the wardens and the staff members pledged to maintain cleanliness and get involved in awareness programme round the year.

2. Cleanliness drive in the Hall premises was organized, where activities like plugging in all the hostels and public spaces were thoroughly conducted.

3. Sanitization drive was undertaken as preventive measures of COVID-19.

4. A thorough survey was conducted to check wastage of water and all measures have been taken to rectify the same.

5. Barrier free access to drinking water, toilet/bathroom facilities and maintenance of ramp for the Divyang students were reviewed and necessary actions were taken to ensure the same.

6. Plantation drive was carried out by the Provost, Prof. Shamshad Husain and Wardens in the presence of other staff members in which saplings were planted at several places within the premises of the Hall of residence.
