Dr. Fasih Raghib Gauhar is working as Associate Professor in Political Science. He obtained his M. Phil and Ph.D. degrees on the topics The United States and UNESCO: A Study of Cultural Diplomacy and The United States and United Nations in Korean and Congo Crises respectively from the Department of Political Science, AMU, Aligarh. His art of pedagogy is interactive and participatory, based on illustrations & case studies. He attends students on individual basis. His research interest lies in the areas of actors and agencies in world politics, globalization, world orders and political theory. His teaching interest includes Human Rights Law, Political Theory & Thought. He has published various papers in national and international journals of repute such as Mainstream, Southern Economist, Third World Impact, Aligarh Law Journal and International Journal of Business Management & Social Sciences etc. Dr. Gauhar has been closely associated with the academic and residential life of the University in different capacities such as President; University Eco-Club, Member; University Infrastructure Committee, Warden; Halls of Residence, Coordinator; Coaching and Guidance Cell, Member; Anti-ragging Committee, Placement/Legal Training Cell, etc.
