Dr. Shamama Firdaus is currently working as Assistant Librarian at Maulana Azad Library, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh. Earlier, she has worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, and Centre for Distance and Online Education, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She has also worked as Research Assistant (RA) in an ICSSR-IMPRESS Research Project. She has completed Master of Library & Information Science and holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from the same department. She has presented papers and attended several conferences, seminars, and workshops. Her research interests include web-based resources, web-based services, evaluation of web resources, Web 2.0, and sustainable development.
