Profile; I have got my early education from 1st to X11 Standard in an Arabic Medium school at Abu-Dhabi (UAE) as my father was employed there and my family was shifted there in my childhood. After completion of my X11 examination my father was retired and we came back to India. I was interested in higher education and my father also favored my ambition though there was no tradition in my family to educate the girls in colleges and universities. By the grace of Almighty Allah I succeeded to join the great seat of learning the Aligarh Muslim University and I completed my Graduation, Post Graduation, M. Phill and Ph. D. courses in Arabic language and literature successfully. After P.G. I qualified NET of UGC for the eligibility of Lectureship as well as for the award of Junior and Senior Research Fellowship and after completing my Ph.D. I got Lectureship in the department of Arabic in 1999. I had always keen interest in Arabic language especially in modern Arabic literature. The department has provided me a great opportunity to improve and polish my abilities under the guidance of learned scholars and teachers of the department. I have concentrated and deeply studied the recent developments took place in the field of modern fiction and novel writing in the Arab world. My M. Phil. work was on the great Arab fiction writer Ibrahim Abd-al Qadir al-Mazni and my Ph.D. work was on the great modern Arab novelist Taufiq-al-Hakim. My thrust area is modern Arabic literature and wants to improve my abilities by using all possible methods of teaching of Arabic language and literature. I have also command over spoken Arabic Language with Arabic accent as I have also worked as Arabic News Reader on Zee T.V for few months. I have been pursuing my teaching and research guidance related with the developments in the field of fiction and story writings. Two Research Scholars have successfully completed their Ph. D. works under my supervision and other two research works are in final stage. I have also attended National Seminars and presented papers and a number of my research papers have also been published in the reputed Arabic Journal. My two books (Translation from Arabic to Urdu) have also been published.
