Abdul Aziz Khan has done his M.A., M. Phil., Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University. He is a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics, AMU, Aligarh. He has also served as Assistant Professor in Linguistics at Najran University, Najran, K. S. A. for three years. He has been awarded with gold medal in his masters. His areas of interest are Language Testing, Theoretical Linguistics, Applied Linguistics and Language Pedagogy. Under his guidance, three Ph.Ds. have been awarded and four have been submitted. He has been appointed as a Deputy Coordinator of Language of Advertising, Market and Media (LAAM) Centre (which offers P.G. and Ph.D. Programs), Department of Linguistics. He has presented more than twenty papers in both National and International Seminars. He has authored two books entitled 1. Testing Urdu Language Skills: A Linguistic Approach and 2. Urdu Language Testing: A Critical Study. In addition he has also published ten research articles/papers in National Journals and four research articles/papers in International Journals of Linguistics. Dr. Khan, as a convener, has organized three national seminars and one international seminar. He is the Editor of AMU Journal of Language and Media Discourse, a refereed annual research journal with ISSN2582-1741 (Aligarh, India). He is also one of the members of Editorial Board of International Journal of English and Education (e-journal) with ISSN 2278-4012, and Aligarh Journal of Linguistics with ISSN-2249-1511.
