Dr. Mohammad Jane Alam is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics. He had also worked as Research Assistant in the same department. 

His area of research includes molecular spectroscopy and quantum chemistry. His research work is recognized by international publications of high repute. He has published research papers in various refereed Journals like Journal of Molecular Liquids, Spectrochimica Acta A, International Journal of Mass Spectrometry,  ACS Omega, Journal of Molecular Structure, Computational Biology and Chemistry, Molecular Physics, Chemical Papers, Bioorganic Chemistry, RSC Adv., Fluid Phase Equilibria, Arabian Journal of Chemistry,  New Journal of Chemistry, Inorganica Chimica Acta, Spectroscopy Letter, Springer Nature Appl.Sci., Indian Journal of Physics as well as in AIP conference proceedings.
