My research group's interests are centered around quantum chromodynamics (QCD) - the theory of strong interaction - especially at high energy (we often call this the small-x limit of QCD).
We are working on QCD evolutions at high energy, gluon saturation, Color Glass Condensate (CGC), TMD PDFs, GTMDs, Orbital angular momentum of gluons, proton spin sum rules, etc.
We are particularly interested in the upcoming Electron-Ion Collider (EIC), especially for its unique capability to study the proton mass and spin structure, multi-dimensional tomography, and gluon saturation at small-x.

For B.Sc. and M.Sc. Students
If you are thinking of asking me for a recommendation letter, please make sure the following:
(1) I have taught at least one theory course to you, and you have attended at least 80% of the classes.
(2) When I write a recommendation letter, I reflect on or recall the academic engagements of the student. This includes participating in discussions, asking questions, submitting assignments, showing sincerity and integrity in the study, etc, either in or outside the classroom. This is essential to write my impression of the student's academic credentials in the recommendation letter.
(3) Details CV is readily available if asked for.
(4) The deadline for submitting the recommendation letter is at least ten days away.
Additionally, for M.Sc. students - applying for a PhD program either in India or abroad - a write-up (about 500 words) on the academic journey so far citing all ups and downs and current research interests.
