I, Dr Nafees Ahmad Khan, working as assistant Professor, in the department of tuberculosis and respiratory diseases since 16.06.2015. My field of interest is Interventional Pulmonology Lung cancer, advances in Tuberculosis.
I have passed my MD Respiratory medicine exam in 2012 from the department of Respiratory medicine J.N medical college, AMU Aligarh.
I have done 2 year Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology in Max super-specialty hospital Saket, New Delhi.
I have also received training in advance interventional Pulmonology procedures from Serdang Hospital Malaysia under Prof Jamalul Aziz (Head of bronchlogy Malaysia). I have worked as attending consultant in department of pulmonary Medicine Max Hospital Saket New Delhi before joining this institute. I have also received prestigious Fellowship of Asia pacific society of Respirology (FAPSR)- JAPAN in the year 2015 I have received training in advance procedures EBUS - both radial and convex probe, Rigid bronchoscopy, Medical Thoracoscopy, apart from routine bronchoscopy procedures. Won First Prize in Poster presentation on EBUS in Broncocon 2014 held in New Delhi. Won Max super-specialty hospital GEM award as best resident doctor in 2014.
I have done certification course in critical care at Max super-specialty hospital in Respiratory ICU and got trained in various procedures related to ICU and invasive , non invasive ventilators. My research work had been published in reputed international journals like Respirology, Chest, etc.
