The Chief Guest on the occasion was Olympian & former Captain of Indian Hockey Team Mr. Zafar Iqbal.

5. Republic Day celebration -2013
Various activities for different group of students were organized viz. Painting competition, Debate, Essay Writing etc
6. Thai Sports & Cultural Event -- on 26 & 27 January 2013.
7. In memory of Prof. AMK Shahryar, the Poet and Lyricist (the prestigious Gyanpeeth Award winner), NRSC organized a programme named 'Yaad-e-Shahryar' on 13/02/2013. The programme included symposium on Life and works of Shahryar along with 'Mushaira'. Many prominent poets attended the programme . Young talents were invited and encouraged to present their work.
8. Annual Cultural & Sports week -- from 04/03/2013 to 10/03/2013.
Sports events and Literary & Cultural events marked this occasion. The winners of the events were presented with trophies/mementoes.
The Chief Guest on this occasion was Hon. Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah.
