Dr. Naseem Us Saba is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology. She completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geology in 2008 and M.Sc. in Applied Geology in 2010 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She received her Ph.D. in Hydrogeology in 2016, with her research titled "Segregation of Various Types of Contaminants in Urban Groundwater of Moradabad City and Recommendations for Suitable Remediation". Dr. Saba was awarded Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) in 2011 and qualified the Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2012, securing an All-India Rank of 36. In 2017, she joined CSIR-NGRI as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. She also served as a Guest Teacher in the Geology Section at Women’s College until April 2023. Dr. Saba has published several research articles in peer-reviewed international and national journals. Her research interests include the hydrogeochemical characterization of groundwater, aquifer behavior simulation, and vulnerability assessment. In addition, she actively participates in various academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.
