Having completed her schooling from The Scindia School in Gwalior, and higher education from Aligarh Muslim University (A.M.U.) in Aligarh, Dr. Anis Jahan is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Education at AMU, Aligarh, India. Her courses of teaching are Educational Administration, Pedagogy of English and Educational Psychology to graduate and postgraduate students.


Dr. Anis Jahan is an author of 20 research papers to date, all of which have been published in reputed Indian and international journals. She has also written two books in the areas of Educational Psychology and Educational Administration. Additionally, her attendance and participation in conferences, workshops and training sessions have been notably high.


Dr. Anis has guided 7 Ph.D. theses (awarded), and 5 scholars are currently working under her supervision. She has also guided 30 postgraduate dissertations. 


Her main research interests include:

  • Anxiety and Stress and

  • Language Education
