I am a Professor in the Department of Education, AMU, Aligarh since 9^th of May, 2015. Prior to join AMU, I have served one central (Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad) and one state university (Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur) of India. My area of interest includes science education, assessment and evaluation and teacher education. Since last 23 years I have published seven books, have contributed ten chapters in the edited books, have published 30 research papers in various journals, have published 5 Psychological Scales and have presented 75 papers at various national and international conferences and seminars. I have also guided 14 research scholars to write their doctoral thesis. In my opinion teachers are key element in bringing material and spiritual advancement of India that is why I had travelled throughout the length and breadth of the country to share my knowledge and experiences with them through various teachers’ training programmes at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. I have acted as a resource person in more than 200 teachers’ training programmes and have delivered lectures as a guest speaker on 50 other occasions.  For the said purpose I have chaired many sessions in national and international seminars and conferences and also have organised 50 teachers’ training programmes. I have been invited by various universities to contribute in material development also and my various lectures are available on you tube.

Besides these duties, I have discharged various departmental responsibilities successfully such as Assistant Superintendent of Exams and Member, Curriculum Revision Committee of CBCS for 2-Year B.Ed. MA, M.Ed. and DT Programmes. I have been associated with the inspection work of NCTE, and NIOS and have substantial collaborations with various institutions such as National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT); State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERTs); District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs); National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS); Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE); University Grants Commission (UGC); Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysore; Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad; Central University of Kerala; Punjab University, Chandigarh; Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi; Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi; Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi; MP Bhoj Open University, Bhopal; Patna University, Patna; Ranchi University, Ranchi; Integral University, Lucknow (IUL) and Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur. I also have discharged various administrative responsibilities successfully as the Controller of Examinations, MANUU- Hyderabad and as the Principals of MANUU CTE Asansol and MANUU CTE, Bhopal.
