Dr. Mohd Atif Jamil obtained his B. Tech. and M. Tech. Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University in 2010 and 2013. He completed his Ph. D. at AMU in 2023 and currently serves as a Guest Faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this, he has also served the department as an Assistant Professor (Ad hoc). Previously, he worked as a Guest Faculty and later as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at the University Polytechnic, AMU, for approximately two years. Following his M. Tech., he also spent nearly six years as an Assistant Professor at a reputed AKTU-affiliated engineering college in Aligarh.

He has contributed to his field through a few publications in SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, four book chapters published by Springer, and 15 national/international conference proceedings/presentations. His research primarily focuses on Condition Monitoring and Intelligent Fault Diagnosis (IFD) of rolling element bearings and vibration modeling of bearing defects.

Dr. Mohd Atif is a Life Member of the Condition Monitoring Society of India (CMSI) and an Associate Member of The Institution of Engineers (India).
