Dr. Ahmar Hasan is
currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology
at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has
obtained his M.B.B.S. degree, followed by an M.D. in Pharmacology, and
completed his Senior Residency at the same institution. He is a committed
academician with substantial experience in pharmacology, actively engaged in
teaching, research, and academic activities. He is adept at delivering engaging
and effective theoretical and practical instruction to undergraduate and
postgraduate students. He demonstrates strong expertise in clinical
pharmacology, pharmacovigilance, ADR monitoring, and academic coordination, and
is actively involved in curriculum development, microteaching, seminar
moderation, and manuscript publication. Skilled in leveraging modern teaching
tools such as mannequin-based skill labs and computer-assisted learning, he has
been recognised for academic contributions including research on the
antidepressant effects of Curcuma longa and participation in national and
international conferences, workshops, and CMEs. Passionate about integrating
evidence-based practices into teaching and research, he maintains a keen
interest in clinical trials, rational prescribing, and enhancing student
learning outcomes through interactive, learner-centric methods
