Dr. Farida Ahmad is presently serving as Professor, Department of Pharmacology J. N. Medical College Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh India. She is involved in teaching and research for more than 24 years. Thrust areas of her research are Clinical Pharmacology Indigenous Drugs Trace element studies Psychopharmacology and Neuro pharmacology. She has guided 17 theses of M. D. 35 research papers in national & international journals have been published 24 research papers have been presented in various national & international conferences. She has delivered extension lecturers on various topics related to Pharmacology. She is also the member of various academic bodies and board member of Animal Ethical committee J. N. Medical College, AMU Aligarh member in interdisciplinary brain research centre JNMC AMU Aligarh Principal Nursing School J. N. Medical College AMU Aligarh. She is serving as expert for the National Board of Examinations.
