Master’s Degree or its equivalent, recognized by the University in Political Science, Public Administration, Human Rights and relevant to her/his proposed field of study/research with not less than an aggregate of 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7point scale (or an equivalent overall average grade point wherever grading system is followed).


Note: The candidate should also had obtained the Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent recognized by the University with not less than an aggregate of 50% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7point scale (or an equivalent overall average grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), subject to any further requirements for eligibility that may be laid down by the University from time to time

COURSE.PEO :

The mission of the Ph.D. Course is to educate students to build careers in academia, Government agencies and in other relevant fields. The main objectives of Ph.D. course are:


  1. To encourage students to pursue research in the areas of national and international concern and need.

  2. To apply and utilize their acquired knowledge for the purpose of policy making and addressing the concerns being faced by the society nationally and internationally.

  3. To acquire the analytical and critical thinking and research skills to become independent scholars’ cable of producing quality research to solve complex questions pertaining to the filed.

  1. To provide education that leads to comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of Political Science, Public Administration and Human Rights.

  2. To ensure effective oral and written communication of students.

  3. To identify relevant research problems and to formulate a research plan; encourage and to acquire innovative ideas and apply them in practical domain.

  4. To train the Research students so that they can work within the interdisciplinary framework of Political Science, Public Administration and Human Rights and allied areas.

  5. To enhance information and technological skills with emphasis on updated relevant literature.

  6. To provide thorough insight in theoretical, empirical and practical aspects of Political Science, Public Administration and Human Rights.

  7. To empower research scholars with the ability to think rationally and address the problems in the field of Political Science, Public Administration and Human Rights.

  8. To encourage research scholars to pursue their research by considering the interest and benefits of socio-economic aspects, needs and goals of the society and the nation at large.
