I did my M.B.B.S and M.S. in Surgery from J.N. Medical College, A.M.U. and later D.N.B in Surgery. Thereafter, I also worked as Senior Resident in the Department of Surgery, J.N. Medical College. I joined as Lecturer in January 2000, and am currently serving as Professor in the Department of Surgery. I am keenly interested in pursuing a career of teaching and research and have presented original papers in various fora of Surgery. I have been guiding thesis of M.S. candidates. Though all aspects of Surgery fascinate me, my thrust areas are surgical oncology, diseases of the breast & thyroid, and minimally invasive surgeries. My scientific papers have been published in various journals including Acta Medica Iranica, The Saudi Journal of Gastroenterology, Journal of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, Indian Journal of Surgery, Indian Journal of Pathology and Microbiology etc.
